New Ends

A photograph from my photobook Metropolight published in 2017 and distributed to over 40 countries.

In 2015, I was travelling around the world’s largest cities taking photographs for my book. While I was in Hong Kong, I climbed on the roof of one of the high-rise buildings near Victoria Peak. Just before dusk, the sun illuminated the International Commerce Centre. The humidity in the air caught the rays of light and suspended them in the air. It created an unexpected contrast with the dark skies looming over the city.
