About Pixelbase
Pixelbase is more than a venue — in the unique space of Kafka's house right next to Old Town Square in the heart of Prague, its co-founders Matej Zimák and Patrik Gudev, want in collaboration with Point and Ambit Gallery to realize their vision - to create a technological hub and digital art gallery.
While maintaining a strong emphasis on fostering relationships with global artistic and technological institutions and keeping digital art exhibitions at its core, Pixelbase offers a wide range of immersive experiences. These include live demonstrations of advanced technologies, cultural happenings, innovative educational programs, and enthralling audiovisual presentations. It's also a gathering point for the community, music enthusiasts, discussions, and workshops that challenge the usual. As Pixelbase continues to develop, our dedication ensures that every visitor experiences the intersection of art, technology, and culture.
Exhibition: Czech Odyssey
Dive into a world, where art meets technology. Pixelbase welcomes you to its first exhibition "Czech Odyssey: The Art of Pixelated Realms", spotlighting Czech digital heroes like Filip Hodas, Jan Sládečko, Vratislav Pecka, Ondřej Zunka, and Jakub Špaček. Each artist tells a unique tale, blending creativity with digital prowess.
The Space
Versatile and dynamic space is ready to host an array of captivating experiences, including digital art exhibitions, live showcases of innovative technologies and products, mesmerizing audiovisual shows, community and company gatherings, cultural events, or educational pursuits such as panel discussions, and engaging workshops that transcend conventional boundaries.
We integrate cutting-edge technological and audiovisual infrastructure such as digital frames, LED panels, AR and VR equipment, captivating light installations, advanced projectors, and motion sensors for interactive audiovisual experiences.

Finding us is like embarking on an exclusive treasure hunt. Nestled in the -1 floor of the historic Franz Kafka’s house at Náměstí Franze Kafky 24/3, right beside the Old Town Square, we're a gem waiting to be discovered. Enter 'Point Dining Bar' and head straight to the back. There, you'll encounter the stairs leading down to Pixelbase. As you descend, our vibrant yellow logo, pulsating with pixels, will beckon you forth.
